TIX Color Code Clock, Silver Review
TIX Color Code Clock, Silver Feature
- LED-illuminated squares in a brushed chrome faceplate display the time to those who know the code
- You can set it to create an ever-changing pattern that always reveals the correct time
- Sits on desk or tabletop or mounts on the wall
To the uninitiated, it looks like just an attractive piece of contemporary LED art. But to the clued-in, it's one clever clock. Once you crack the "code" of its display (dramatically revealed in the sentence), you'll see how easy and fun the TIX Clock is to read. You simply count the number of colored, LED-illuminated squares in each of the four fields on the brushed chrome faceplate! The fields correspond to the four numbers on a digital clock. So in the picture at left, the time is 12:36. Get it? And whoever coined the phrase "time stood still" wasn't referring to the TIX! While it does have a "static" mode, you can also set it to change which squares are illuminated in each field every second or minute, creating an ever-changing pattern that always indicates the correct time. Whether adorning a desktop or mounted on a wall, the TIX Clock gives time a new twist. Includes AC adapter. 10-1/4"x3"x1". Silver.
